Amazing (and cheap) stocking fillers!

I think this idea appeared on fb somewhere. I cannot take any credit! This was so easy, I’m going to make some more for friends and relatives.

Christmas crayons

Buy yourself a packet of good quality crayons. They have to be the ones that are completely wax and no plastic bits. Wilkinson’s have them for 99p. I found a cheap  silicone mould on eBay for chocolate making. It was about £1.50. That’s all you need. Heat your oven to 140c

Now for the hardest part. Peel the paper off the crayons. I ended up pouring hot water over mine as the glue was quite tough. It came straight off then.

All you have to do next, is break the crayons onto the moulds. I put this on a baking tray and into the oven. I then turned the oven off so the crayons melted slowly.

After about 15-20 mins, the wax will have melted and you can remove them from the oven. I let mine set at room temperature and popped them out of the mould.

A perfect stocking filler. Chunky Christmas crayons. Perfect for any toddler, although I think older children would enjoy them too!
